Hey guys, this is where I need your news!!!

We have had so many wonderful things happen in our group in the last year.  Darryl won the competition at Write About Jesus, Kate won the CMT/NSAI listeners choice, just to name the bigger ones.

There is always something exciting to share about each and every journey every meeting.  Come along and share yours.

Upcoming to put on the calender:

Remember there are web casts with wonderful teaching on a regular basis from NSAI.  If you are not a member, think about it.  This is like being in Nashville but sitting in the comfort of your own home and getting the best teaching from the pros.

And, don't forget those critiques which you can submit online and get back very quickly.  So you don't have to be waiting for the next meeting you can get feed back for all those new ideas inbetween.

If you don't know about these services or are not a member and want to be one please contact me at kate@theadoptionthing.org

Upcoming Events

Songs camps at NSAI are back on the calendar check them out on the NSAI website.  These are really terrific for your writing.  You will go to the next level in your writing.  Well worth the money.

This is the month of songposium .  Remember if you are in Nashville to check out NSAI.  Drop in and say hello, and catch a meeting or two. http://www.nashvillesongwriters.com

Critique night is the second Thursday of the month and pitch to publisher is the third Thursday of the month.  Go make some appointments, get aqainted with the staff at NSAI and get your songs critiqued at the same time. Christian teaching, critique, and pitching opportunities are first Tuesday each month.  Check the calendar on the website to determine what night each is on and also the name of the publisher who is coming to pitch night.  This is very worthwhile folks, you do get to pitch to a real publisher and they very often take songs they think they can use.  Worth the drive everytime.

Let us know if there are any events or updates you would like to share with fellow members.
